Who We Are

Members of Texas State Counselors for Social Justice are Professional Counseling Program graduate students in the Department of Counseling, Leadership, Adult Education, and School Psychology who share a commitment to justice, equity, and ending oppressive conditions affecting individuals, families, and society.

We are committed to social justice and increasing access to and quality of mental health care for everyone.

What We Do

We meet every semester to discuss social justice topics and advocate for causes. We also host speakers each semester to present on a topic related to social justice and mental health. Additionally, we are committed to giving back to our community so we volunteer with a local non-profit every semester.
